Hip hop theatre is a term used to describe the hip hop culture, whether dance, rapping beatboxing or even graffiti, is put on stage for a theatre audience.
The combination of the two has put hip hop in the position of being seen as an art as well as a culture, and has given birth to some of the most creative shows that make it to theatre venues, such as Jonzi D’s Breakin’ Convention, Boy Blue’s Pied Piper and Zoonation’s Into The Hoods.
