The start of this year’s events began at the Regional Conflict South in June. As usual, we were excited about it, but with Soul Mavericks having won the Battle of the Year UK qualifiers in April and facing many of the same opponents again, maybe the qualifiers for the south was obvious...
In all fairness though, everyone put up a good fight, especially by the semi finals, and we had to give it up for the underdogs, north London’s La Familia Crew, who always battle valiantly but have yet to get grace the floor on the world stage.
A week later, Regional Conflict North took place in Leeds to decide on the UK finalists...
Qualifiers from north contended with south at the Regional Conflict Finals at the
Islington Academy. Soul Mavericks made it to the finals -

A good answer, but the shouts of unfairness from others is because the crew line up for the World Finals can be different to that in the qualifiers.
The finals are now around the corner. Asics, sponsors of the UK B-
